You must select this shipping method during checkout to use the free shipping offer, unfortunately we can not apply free shipping to orders which do not select free shipping during checkout so be sure to select it if you qualify!
Our free shipping offer is for shipping addresses within the continental United States only; please note that addresses in Alaska, Hawaii, APO/FPO, as well as international shipping addresses are not eligible for free shipping. Our free shipping offer may be shipped by either UPS, USPS or another carrier at our discretion. (If you prefer or require a particular carrier or delivery time, please do not select free shipping!)
Shipment Preparation & Fulfillment TimeMost orders ship out within 1 business day or less! There may be exceptions for custom orders, printed orders, large orders, out-of-stock items, and drop-shipped items. Market and Patio items may take up to 48 hours to ship with some exceptions which are noted in the description area of the item. We will notify you in the event that your order cannot be filled within a reasonable timeframe.
Orders placed after 1pm Eastern will ship the following day. Orders placed after 1pm Eastern on Friday will ship Monday. Holidays and Weekends are non-shipping days, non-business days.
Money order and Check orders are not sent out until your check has been received and processed.
Carrier Shipment & Delivery TimeUmbrellas.com is located in New York, USA and delivery times will vary based on carrier, shipping method selected, destination and package. If you require a guaranteed delivery method please be sure to select either UPS 3 Day or UPS Next Day, all other methods are not guaranteed by the carrier.
The carrier (UPS, USPS, etc) and their drivers are responsible for the packages, they may at their discretion decide not to leave a package in an area they feel is not secure (outside an apartment door). If this happens, the driver will come back at the earliest opportunity, usually the next day, and attempt delivery again. In these situations, the package will not be delivered without signature even if the package has been shipped using an guaranteed or expedited shipping method.
If you request guaranteed or expedited shipping, please make sure someone is available to receive the package. Umbrellas.com is not responsible for shipment delays or difficulties due to carrier decision not to leave a package. In the event we can not get your item delivered to you using the selected carrier we may opt to substitute the carrier in order to expedite delivery.
APO/FPO and International OrdersUmbrellas.com ships to APO and FPO military addresses, and international countries. APO/FPO and International orders take longer to deliver. The delivery date is dependent upon the particular country postal services. Please allow for this when determining the shipping time for international and APO/FPO orders.
Custom OrdersCustom orders (including but not limited to printed, large, non-stock, drop-ship orders) are typically shipped within 1-3 weeks of payment processing. Some custom orders will require more production time, please inquire at the time of placing the order as to how long production and delivery will take for your specific order. If you do not receive your order within 3 weeks of being billed please contact us immediately.
Corporate orders can be shipped utilizing customer's agent or carrier upon customer's request at time of purchase but may require additional fees for handling.
Claims for Shipping Damages or ShortagesIf you need to file a claim for damages, shortages, missing parts or other errors that appeared to have occurred, please do so within twenty-four (24) hours of receipt of goods so that we may resolve the problem quickly.
Merchandise received damaged as a result of shipping should also be reported directly to the carrier company upon receipt. If you are there at the time of delivery and the shipment is damaged please feel free to refuse the shipment and contact us immediately for a quick replacement shipment.
